This policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds, cancellations, and adjustments may be granted. By engaging with our services, you agree to the terms specified in this policy.

1. Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to all services provided by StratAfrica, including but not limited to:

✔ Business Strategy Consulting – Strategic planning, market analysis, and business development advisory.
✔ Financial Planning & Risk Management – Financial health assessments, cash flow optimization, and investment strategies.
✔ Operational Efficiency Solutions – Process optimization, business restructuring, and workflow improvements.
✔ Succession & Retirement Planning – Leadership transition planning and financial sustainability strategies.

As a professional service provider, our work involves the delivery of intellectual property, expertise, and strategic insights. Due to the nature of our services, refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

2. Cancellation Policy
If you wish to cancel a consulting session, service engagement, or ongoing project, the following rules apply:

✔ For One-Time Consulting Sessions

Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled session are eligible for a full refund or rescheduling at no extra charge.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session may incur a 50% cancellation fee, depending on the nature of the engagement.
✔ For Ongoing Consulting Engagements

Clients may cancel ongoing consulting services with at least 14 days’ written notice.
Fees for work already completed will not be refunded, but any unused prepaid fees for future work may be eligible for a refund.
If a client fails to provide the necessary information or collaboration required to complete a project, StratAfrica reserves the right to terminate the agreement without refund.
✔ For Subscription-Based Services (if applicable)

Clients on a subscription or retainer model may cancel with 30 days’ written notice.
No refunds are provided for services already rendered, but prepaid future services may be partially refunded, depending on the contract terms.
3. Refund Policy
Refunds are generally not available for completed consulting services due to the nature of intellectual and strategic work. However, exceptions may apply in the following cases:

✔ Service Not Delivered

If StratAfrica is unable to provide the agreed-upon service due to unforeseen circumstances, the client may request a full refund.
✔ Failure to Meet Agreed Deliverables

If a consulting report, analysis, or service does not meet the agreed deliverables outlined in the contract, clients may request a partial refund or revision.
✔ Duplicate or Accidental Payments

If a client is charged twice or makes an accidental payment, they are entitled to a full refund of the excess amount.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to our support team within 7 days of service delivery.

4. Non-Refundable Services
The following services are not eligible for refunds once initiated or delivered:

❌ Completed Consulting Sessions – Once a live session has been conducted, refunds will not be issued.
❌ Customized Business Strategy Reports – Due to the extensive research and intellectual property involved, no refunds will be granted after delivery.
❌ Third-Party Expenses – If StratAfrica incurs third-party costs (e.g., software licenses, market research fees), these expenses are non-refundable.

In cases where a refund is not possible, we may offer service adjustments, additional support, or revisions to ensure client satisfaction.

5. Refund Process & Timelines
To request a refund, clients must follow this process:

Step 1: Submit a Refund Request

✔ Provide details of the service, payment transaction, and the reason for your request.
✔ Attach any supporting documentation, such as agreements or service reports.

Step 2: Review & Evaluation
✔ Our finance and service teams will review the request within 7 business days.
✔ If the request meets refund eligibility criteria, a refund approval email will be sent.

Step 3: Refund Processing
✔ Refunds will be issued via the original payment method (e.g., credit card, bank transfer).
✔ Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider, but typically take 5-10 business days.

If a refund is denied, we will provide a written explanation and discuss alternative solutions.

6. Client Satisfaction & Dispute Resolution
At StratAfrica, we prioritize client satisfaction and professional integrity. If you are dissatisfied with a service, we encourage you to:

✔ Contact your assigned consultant to discuss concerns and possible solutions.
✔ Request a service adjustment if the original deliverables need modification.
✔ Escalate the issue to our support team if further resolution is needed.

We aim to resolve disputes through communication and mutual agreement. If necessary, disputes may be handled through mediation or legal proceedings under South African law.

7. Changes to This Policy
StratAfrica may update this Refund & Return Policy periodically. When updates occur:

✔ The “Effective Date” at the top of this page will be revised.
✔ Clients will be notified via email or website announcement if significant changes are made.

We encourage clients to review this policy regularly to stay informed about their rights and responsibilities.
